Dan, I noticed at least one local computer store in San Diego has the FIC Socket A board (AZ-11) and is selling systems with 700 to 850 MHz TBirds. Apparently they have enough of the boards to advertise the bare boards ($149) as well as systems. This was true as of June 30, the publication date of ComputorEdge.

The bad news is that PC800 Rambus is apparently readily available at $407 per 128 meg RIMM, since it is advertised at that price here: thechipmerchant.com

PC133 is $149 per 128 Meg

At another dealer the prices were $142 and $379.
