Ruffian,

That AT&T post about Strategis is very old. They seem to be moving ahead big time with EDGE and GSM convergence. The competetive intelligence on comparative cost is, IMO, the basis of the Strategis contract.

Roberts comments I buy.

Ruffian,

Let me correct myself when I said that the Raging Bull AT&T post about Strategis is very old.

I scanned the post at first then when back and read it again.

Its not so old. Different article than what I was thinking of (which was the old 'T' announcement about Strategis.

Do know the article date?

I think the source is RCR News. I've searched but cant find it on RCR. I think Lynette Luna wrote it.

Curious as to how old. I'm thinking April but might be newer.

Interesting analyst comments in it.

Ruffian,

Found it. FWIW

That undated article about AT&T Wireless titled "AT&T Explores 1XRTT Technology" and subtitled "Carrier Says for Competitive Intelligence" clipped from Raging Bull was published on October 11, 1999 in RCR.

I think it is safe to assume AT&T Wireless is sticking with EDGE (for worse or for worse, for now). <g>
