milo...re:FUD from ANALysts on CNBC. It's amazing these guys get paid for their analysis. Reports just last week said there was record demand for chips in May. Looks like there will be no end in demand anytime soon. These guys need to get a clue.

Look at this line from this Market watch story:
The SIA said sales of microprocessors and DRAMs used in personal computers helped out the May numbers, as did digital signal processors, field programmable logic devices, and flash memory found in COMMUNICATION products.

Who do the analysts think is going to provide most of the infrastructure for their "communication focus"? Duh...it's the chip makers. Between the press, the analysts, and the three FUDsters on the thread it's a wonder the average investor can sort through the details and get the real story.

I guess they just repeated the same show on CNBC.

The points I remember:

The computer is dead. AMD a weak hold, and "I wouldn't buy Intel either".

You should put your money into semis supplying communications.

But we love Micron for their DRAM!
