I just try to avoid cyclicals as I have not demonstrated to myself that I can time their cycles, up or down, and beat the smarter guys. I have certainly not timed my entry and exits in Dell, but am holding as a long term investor. Dell may not increase 50% as I speculated, but I am certain of strong growth over several years.
