RE: UTCI
I looked at this awhile ago and came away thinking of it as more of a special chemical than technology company. The LED division seems to be making low tech products unless they have a neat panel or some photonic application that I missed. The semi division is cool but what percentage of revs do they produce now ... could be future grower and as you said, surely a value play.

How bout a strike at a squeeze play ... PIN

VNTR: they use to luv it when it was Chemdex ... so much for the name change.

GNLB: I'll check it out along with GLGC & GENE. GLGC signed an agreement for SNP database similar to ORCH which will identify an individuals specific gene for therapy. ORCH has been on fire and GLGC has corrected and may be ready for another run.

Thanks, NEPF

EDIT > biz.yahoo.com

Its stable thermal properties enable SiC-based wireless communication devices to operate at higher frequencies and with greater power output levels. Silicon carbide substrates are also used for the development of blue LEDs and laser devices.

Yeah, I'll have to revisit this!
