Well my family and I were traveling the last few days. We just returned. SQSW, darn it sold it Friday at the high thinking it was going down the next day. Oh well, about the kids... it seems they know more than us at times.

We got some fireworks here for Canada Day, this past weekend, too. Small show in the local port, Steveston (suburb of Vancouver), a nice small town feel with everyone gathered in the park on the point to watch. Vancouver has the Symphony of Fire each year in the summer, with international teams competing in displays from barges in English Bay that you just wouldn't believe...but my youngest has always avoided fireworks, just not interested enough to want to put up with the noise! The other two girls love the displays, though. Cheers to y'all on the 4th! (sorry, still the 4th on the Wet Coast here) WUWT
