Yes, but only with PM's - and I found you have to untick the preview box. BTW In the last week or so my alias was twice changed to my username - and I noticed yesterday that Bob Johnson's intiials were substituted for 'bob' Weird things are going on.

(off topic) last five days or so, unable to post to SI <<Has anyone else been having these problems....>> Alex, the current PM message from SI Administration does not mention any recent posting problems, but it was affecting most everyone, and while it was happening to me i noticed that some posts of others wee going through ok, but most were very short. From that i tried to post only "is si sick" and it posted ok without error, and from that success point i tried to edit it to see if one could now add more text, and it worked. Seemed that the initial code to place a new post was broken, but the code to modify a new post in the 15 minute window did not use broken code. If problem happens again, try this method. doug
