Kent: Yes ExiO will face intense competition, but they will have a head start with Qualcomm's license. Will be interesting to see if Cisco or Lucent or others also seek and obtain a similar Qualcomm license for the use of CDMA /HDR for the data nexus to internet / intranet for enterprise / campus use.

(Actually I would see Nortel Networks as the best ally to have if that company obtains a similar license, or the most dangerous competitor if it does not)

While this is all well in the future, the CDMA / HDR advantage re data speed and the built in IP, would seem to bode well for Qualcomm in this area.

And very much doubt that any revenue or earnings are for this type of activity is built into any analyst's model.
