LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 5, 2000--International Star Inc.
(OTCBB:ISRI) is pleased to announce that it has signed a memorandum of
understanding with WebTeck Wireless Inc. (WWI) a Canadian based
Company, to jointly develop, market, monitor and sell Personal and
Business Location Services and other wireless data solutions over
available wireless systems.
It is estimated that the annual worldwide demand projected for
in-vehicle location services products size is over $US 9 billion by
2002; the company will focus on this demand to obtain their share of
the growing market.
ISRI and WWI recognize that the tracking of assets and personnel
is a growth market in North America, and the team believes that the
increasing pace and complexity of managing business and personal
affairs will generate a large demand for real time location of mobile
equipment and people.
Terms of the MOU reqiure the formation of a new company owned 50%
by ISRI and 50% by WWI. The newly formed company will enter into a
management agreement with WWI whereby WWI will manage planning,
operations, and customer service including site visits and product
demonstration and other technical requirements. ISRI and WWI will be
equally represented on the newly formed company's Board of Directors.
WebTech Wireless Inc. is in the business of developing and
commercializing hardware and proprietary software in the area of
wireless telephony, specifically, the development of personal and
business location systems, WWI systems will provide complete location
based services uitilizing GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) and other
location technology for position information. WWI is field testing a
prototype of the system for a taxi company.

The management team of WWI is headed by Mr. Anwar Sukkarie as
president and CEO. Mr. Sukkarie holds a Master of Sciences in
Electrical Engineering and from 1990 to 1999 was employed by Motorola
Corp-EMEA in the Motorola Wireless Data Systems Division in the
capacities of Business Development Director (Middle East and Africa),
and Mr. Cameron Fraser V.P. Product Development and chief Technical
Officer. Mr. Fraser was awarded his Bachelor of Science in Computer
Science in 1974 from the University of Toronto. From 1986 to 1998 Mr.
Fraser was employed by Motorola Corp. in the capacities of Director --
Technology Group, Director -- Product Development, Director --
Engineering, and Manager -- System architecture and Network
Management. Mr. Gordon Becker is Director and COO. Mr. Becker was
awarded his B. AP. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University
of British Columbia. Mr. Becker is president and CEO of Modern Logic
Inc., a private company that develops hardware and software for
bulding security systems.
