Rich: My munis are one fire today. Bonds beat stocks for the first half of 2000. Who has been screaming bonds since January 1, 2000? This stiff has been one of the few on SI willing to step out of the tech. mode and talk about and recommend bonds. Everyone here on SI and in the media has been talking tech. this or tech. that or stock this or stock that and this boring stiff has talked about bonds since January 1.

I still remember Brinker discussion where if one had 50% in five year treasuries and 50% in the S & P 500, one would have achieved 84% of the return of the S & P 500 over time with less risk. Anybody have a link to that beauty? I think it was Neuberger and Berman who did the study.
