is it?

it's still a bear according to non-confirming transports...and no dow theory die hard will say the theory predicts the precise moment each bear phase, final bottom...but certainly does warn when tops are not confirmed...in which case....paying attention to that aspect would have placed you on your guard against the current cross streams we've seen over the last six months....

however... if we do not finally return to something like the ages old processes of determining valuations to some "acceptable degree (which I suppose will have to include Haim turning somewhat bullish)......perhaps dow theory will indeed no longer apply.... meaning....the dow index is no longer, can no longer be considered the back bone of all other valuation/performance gauges for measuring companies in the US market... perhaps we need an international dow tailored to the G7...or the combined euro/us/big3-4 asean markets..... beets me with a turnip.
