I tend to see things a bit differently. The recent FUD is a resultant of Q* honesty. What they are speaking now about slowing growth will be history when NOK, ERICY have to fess up. The value for Q* is not 8 mos out, IMO. I see the end of 2000 as a rather impressive time for Q* prospects. By then, the remainder of the wireless industry will have to come to reality and decide whether to await 2 years of losing customers for an if-maybe W-CDMA or start accepting HDR and 1x possibilities from Q*. Thus far, GSM pirates have used every method possible to slam Q*. The incumbent graft-takers in all of the countries are of course going to benefit from GSM funds, but they are not what determines the final outcome, it is the wireless providers that will determine where the money is. And where the money is will be where the investment flows.
