LD, You had better get real. If you don't know that the President presents bills to Congress that, if passed, affect the law of the land, you just don't know the first thing about what goes on in DC. Sure, Congress has the power, but a strong President, with the majority of Congress agreeing with him, can, and has before, modified the law of the land. ~H~

You ought to take your own advice lawdope. Wasn't it you who was blaming the "Reagan deficit" on the President as opposed to the Democrat Congress which controlled the "purse strings?" LOL!! JLA
