73 1/8 -- day low. Perhaps the more we tank, the more likely AMD will issue a refutation. We've got to make up almost 6 now to hit that 79 close... Doug

My guess is we either tank bigtime or stage a half-hearted rally. I'd guess a lot of the daytraders need to cover their short positions. For once I think Kramer is right, tommorrow the other ANALysts will come to the aid of the semi's and say good things. For this reason I'd expect the shorts to be taking profits now. Either this will happen, or the whole sector will tank bigtime in this last hour and the Naz will finish down 200. It's anyone's guess at this point... chic Those stocks that bottomed last week seem to be holding at those lows....I guess that's good news. Unfortunately AMD is barely off its intraday low. ted
