If they're smart, the shorts would cover and go long in the last half hour. I can already see Dan Niles issuing "bullish reports" about the whole sector while Maria will be live from the floor talking about "Dee-RAM prices", blah blah blah.... Niles and co. have no choice but to come in defense of the SSB report, or else today's crash of the semi's will look like nothing compared to what tommorrow will bring.... 8 of 16 on the SOX down more than 10% already... The semi's could be in the toilet for some time to come, but I think today is too early to go short because there will be dead cats bouncing tommorrow.... FWIW
