AMD - article:

biz.yahoo.com

an excerpt: `AMD Flash memory products are used in the majority of Nortel Networks' designs, and were 100 per cent
defect-free throughout all of our worldwide operations for 1999,'' said Ken Bradley, Vice President, Supply Management, Nortel Networks. ``AMD focuses on the designer's requirements. They have consistently exceeded
expectations in all the critical areas of Nortel Networks' supplier relationship.'' Bradley noted, ``In addition, they
always keep in mind what we're looking for to drive Nortel Networks forward.''

``We're elated to receive this recognition from Nortel Networks, a global leader in networking solutions,'' said AMD's Walid Maghribi, Group Vice President of AMD's Memory Group. ``We've taken a long-term customer-centered
approach with Nortel Networks. In the face of unprecedented capacity constraints in the industry, we're working very
closely with them to help them achieve their business goals.''

******* Note that last sentence - "In the face of unprecedented capacity constraints in the industry" - hmmm, kind of contradicts the jokers from SSB

Last minute short-covering. . . man, did the Dow ever have the Naz in tow today. . . it was obscene the way the Naz tracked the Dow's every move in about a 2 minute delay. Manipulation is so obvious, one would think the SEC had forgotten its charter.
