My uncle was like Norm. He built some really nice pieces. I never got the knack for the exact fitting.

tool lust... yessir... I suffer greatly from that... Just borrowed a book from the library... think it might be a "gotta have" for my own collection..."Classic Hand Tools" by Garrett Hack. The section on hand planes is giving me a terrible case of tool lust. Just love planes. Was at a friend's house last week and there was an amazing collection of the old wooden planes... eeekkkk!!!... talk about love at first sight... Like the little metal ones too... cool little moulding planes for doing fancy millwork... and spokeshaves... aaahhh... love spokeshaves...
