RatBrain - Re: "The reason, a company spokesman said, was to allow customers the necessary time to test and update their own servers, which they must do with each new chip Intel produces. "

And you and Lewinsky-Dan and your fellow AMDroids think AMD is going to waltz right in to the Server Market as soon as some tech at AMD "thinks" the SMP chip set is functional ?

HA !!!

You 'droids have a LONG WAIT IN FRONT OF YOU !!!

Re: "And on a completely unrelated topic- how is the new c0 stepping going?"

EXCELLENT !!!!!

Looks like 1.13 GHz Pentium IIIs are binning out already !!

I'd say AMD will REALLY DO SOME PRICE cutting in response to Intel's improved speed distribution - plus AMD's own problems with Gateway's ThumperTurd (I Know - the AMDroids took a VOTE and agreed it was a GATEWAY PROBLEM !!!).
