Greg, to be more specific, I don't think SSB bothered to take a close look at each subset of the semiconductor market, including ASICS, DRAM, microprocessors, and embedded and removable flash memory. If they did, I don't know how they could have possibly thought that SSTI, one of the stocks they named in the report, was having some sort of decline in demand growth. It makes no sense at all, but it does confirm one thing: Smith Barney apparently DOES make money the hard way.
