What can you do? The dogs don't like the dog food in the kitchen. That's fine. They need to lose weight. But the doves like the dog food in the kitchen. The dogs lie (doggo) on the floor and watch the doves walk into the kitchen and eat the food. Then they sneak up (doves are really dumb!). At about five feet, the pointer goes into a rigid point and starts shivering. The other dogs creep up almost to the doves the wham! the whole places explodes with leaping snapping dogs fluttering doves (sometimes 20 or more) and feathers fill the air. This has been going on for months.
There have only been two casualties. The pointer brings them up and puts them at my feet. I don't know whether to say "good dog!" or "bloody murderer!" .. No poop so far, I think the doves unload before they come in to eat. Things could be a hell of lot worse. Lots of man-o-war burds around. Big suckers!
