Since it also has a gas [methane] hob, hot water and heating, the combination seems dire. If I suddenly go off-air, look for a hole in the ground here. We'll have to buy another 2draw dishwaster for the new house - the two draws are great! Fill one while the other is washing. No, I don't have shares in the company, but they were once upon a time a customer of mine [buying my excellent lubricants - for the manufacturing process]. On the hydrogen, maybe they have cathodic protection in it to avoid corrosion [sacrificial zinc anodes or maybe just zinc plating which preferentially corrodes rather than other metals such as iron which will rust] and if the machine sits damp for a few weeks, a little bit of hydrogen collects.
