lawdog, I assume that you can't help but make yourself look like a child. Name calling and chest beating on a down day is no great feat. I also assume that your favorite targets are long term CSCO holders and are up so much on their investments that there is no way that you will ever outperform them with a short position. In regards to your comment about bears outperforming the bulls, CSCO is up what, 15% this year? That seems to support the bull camp.

If I were to short a stock right now, it would not be CSCO. I am presently short a couple of high fliers that have no nets... CSCO has a net imo.

good luck, tp

Dogbreath
Another classic example of you just don't know what in blazes you are talking about.

On 1-3-00 Cisco closed at 52.9375 and today at 61.875.Do the math if you know how and tell me what percentage(16.89%) Cisco has gained this year.A gain means the BEARS are wrong as usual.
Right Way

Lawdog,

I believe I have given the bears credit in the past. I believe it is you that have given the bulls zero credit. Furthermore I grow increasingly tired of your continued ranting about how Cisco is going down all the while suggesting that you're doing it as part of some philanthropic need. The fact is this continued ranting only serves to feed your weak ego nothing more. You post the same whining day in day out. On the other hand the bulls are either posting information or are responding to you Eski, Bambs, and the other table pounding bears.

I think we've heard and understand your position. I would like to point out that this type of chest pounding doesn't occur by bulls on the run ups.... just by the bears on weakness. Seems to me the balance of pontificating on this thread is in your favor which is why I find this thread becoming a waste of time. If that's all we're going to do here is post our unsubstantiated opinions and guesses and then later post - "I told you so"... well, I can go to my daughters elementary school playground and get that.

Fwiw I see the recent earnings misses by smaller tech companies as good news for the gorillas. I think there will be a flight to quality which will play right into the pre-earnings run on CSCO. Then we'll see what this pup is made of come August. We still don't know if you have a short position..... or are you just here to whine?
