To All:

I hate to...aw, who am I kidding... I LOVE to say "I told you so". In msg 5577 I wrote:

However, the flip side of this is that when the dumping is over, ATI will been the main beneficiary, owning an even larger share of their "bread and butter" market.

Now check out this news:

ATI increases lead in US Video Card sales through distributors; closes gap with market leader to 1% in US TV Tuner sales through distribution

[snip]....In US distributor sales of video cards, ATI lengthened its first place market share spot, rising to 49%, a 9% increase from the previous month.

[snip]....In US retail sales of video cards, ATI increased its market share to 27%, up from 21% in January 2000 - and is now only 4% behind the market leader.

Now lets see how long before my last statement comes true:

cls shorted at 52, went to 60, covered at 42....still think it is crap...but not short currently.

are you out of your head to think i was wrong on ATI...look at the stock...look at the company's P&L...revenues are shrinking...it is losing money...at least be a man about it and say thank you...its nothing personal...you should learn to be more open minded about those that disagree with you.

hopefully other people on the thread heeded my advice.
