G.D., Too bad us SIers can't sign your petition. We need some virtual states.

Those JIRO boards are open all the time for questions. BRCD cannot stop all the creative talent that are at work on management of things that will plug into the fabric.

I need a network menagement solution for discovering some specific services on the network. For example, I would like to discover all of those services within some specific range of IP addresses.
By default, Jini will disocver those services within the same subnet. It needs a federating process to extend the discovery beyoung subnet boundary. Is Jiro provides any help regarding the federation? What is my right choice? Jini? Jiro? or any other technology that is currently available?
