Here is Dr. I. J.'s in case anyone didn't take the opportunity to read it on the YAHOO thread:

Hello fellow shareholders!

I want to assure you that the future of Qualcomm is alive and well. Currently, many on Wall Street lack confidence in our ability to execute. Although many
have doubted our ability in the past, earnings and revenues continue to increase year over year and our share price has appreciated by nearly 900 percent
since the Autumn of 1998.

As you probably have heard, CDMA is now the #1 standard for wireless in the United States, and is increasing much more rapidly than TDMA or GSM. We
will continue to dominate the CDMA chipset market and will increase our royalty stream dramatically as the world evolves towards third generation
technology which we also expect to dominate. With major carriers such as Sprint PCS and Verizon expected to utilize our HDR technolgy, the world will for
the first time experience cystal clear transmission of data and voice at a rate that is faster than most cable modems. In addition, the bursty data capabilities
will provide HDR with a superior technology ahead of GSM's EDGE.

In 5 years we expect CDMA to be the dominant standard for wireless. Please be patient with the recent underperformance of our shares, as this will pass.
Sometimes the analysts on Wall Steet seem to be incapable of understanding the huge technological advantage we have over our competitors and where we
at Qualcomm are taking the industry.

Sincerely,

Dr. Irwin M. Jacobs
