Enterprise Rent-A-Car Licenses Fiserv AIS Claims Workstation/J

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, Sep 4, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Fiserv Advanced Insurance Solutions (AIS), a unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV chart, msgs), today announced that Enterprise Rent-A-Car, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, has licensed the Claims Workstation/J(TM) system.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the largest car rental company in North America with more than 600,000 vehicles in its rental and leasing fleets. Enterprise Rent-A-Car operates nearly 4,800 locations in the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

We spent a considerable amount of time detailing requirements and selecting a partner. Fiserv Advanced Insurance Solutions' flexible mentality and good technical architecture made them the clear choice. Claims Workstation/J is a Java-based system that facilitates claims adjusting and communications through integration of business rules, imaging and work management technology. The Claims Workstation system will manage the entire lifecycle of claims for the car rental company.
