It does look somewhat different on the Dow. Try the SPX.

It's been between 1440 and 1480, for the most part, since late May. The range has been tighter since June 22nd which suggest to me that when it finally decides on direction the move could be quite powerful.

I have a system, which back tests well, that went Short SPX at 1444.55; I do not have faith in that trade, however the system's performance has been over 80% positive trades during the course of the past two years. Currently it has a Reverse Stop at 1470.97
