We might see Intel starts pre-earnings rally from here and lift semi up. I expect AMD might have another big jump on good news. dream on...

DRBES:

Re: "Is it not amazing how reliably that the "yep" trio (youseF, elmeR, & pauL) show up so reliably just before AMD is about to make another significant run on the market cap ratio disparity between inteL and AMD. Let us see if works once again. By the way, they seem to make themselves relatively scarce on this thread soon after it onsets. Let us hope that the process has started once again."

Comment: I suspect that, like a pack of hyenas, they'll disappear, yelping, into the sunset not to be heard from again for a long, long while once the next upward trend (stirrings todayseem apparent)runs its course over the next several months!!! If they are still yapping on July 19, I would suspect that the Q2 conference call and results after the close will send them scattering once and for all!!!

DRBES:

The Nasdaq just turned positive again...To me that signals that the SSB semi-scare has now run its course as investors rightly conclude the absurdity of the SSB report conclusions pertaining to AMD...Just need the DOW to recapture positive turf, now...Don't think it will take long for AMD to resume its upward march into triple digits!

I vote for "yeLp" even though it gives Elmer double billing. <eom>
