Initially, the selling hit JDSU and then affected the other stocks. I think the high volume early in the morning spooked some investors into selling and of course others into shorting....fearing that something must be wrong. If there is nothing wrong, you can expect a lot of buying this afternoon or tomorrow. So far, I have not read or heard anyting to suggest there is a problem. I am optimistic and think all is OK with JDSU, SDLI, GLW and other fibre stocks.
