One thing about living close to PDK is that the noise of the airport is not that noticeable.

As for the white haired whiners, they lost the battle to prevent PDK from serving as a passenger airport.

Yes there must have been a artificially high price on the stock, but since we are in the lower part of the travel season, I believe that things will pick up again.

Also the FAA has had a hand in the matter of studies from noise supposedly generated by the airport. A surprising finding which has deflated the white haired whiners, is that a majority of the noise is NOT coming from PDK.

Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta has been cited as a source of a lot of our jet noise, as well as Hartsfield.

I am aware that there are only three high noise producing jet aircraft that can rattle the walls so to speak at PDK. The remainder are very modern aircraft with a lower noise ratio than a Cessna. Even so those aircraft will soon be replaced, as the aviation companies that own them get replacement Gulf Streams.
