that would at least mean recent lows are holding...i admit it would be an encouraging sign. i just checked that this seems to be shaping up as an inside day on the daily chart...that wouldn't be bad at all. inside days have a good record of preceding XAU trend reversals. also yesterday's low sported a few bullish oscillator divergences...although technically, a support trend line has clearly fallen. another thing that is disturbing is the big call OI on gold stocks...there's lots of rebound speculation. also in gold itself, call OI is almost three times put OI. this suggests that stable prices is probably the best we can hope for here...forget rallies. if there are any, they will soon be aborted again. we need the gold bugs to truly give up and puke...but they're the most stubborn group of losers walking the earth i fear...-g-
