I wasn't actually intending to start up with that line of argument again. I messed up a private message when I was doing too many things at once. Message 13990798 There are some amazing discoveries being made in physics and astronomy, the true implications of which will not understood for years. A more interesting current topic is the combination of the discovery of the human genome and the ever cheaper computers. It's practicly possible now to assemble say 3.6 billion small processors each one running a simulation of a DNA bond, the result being a complete simulation of a human being. If so, and it was aware, would it have a soul? TP
