If Alcatel were to capture 43% of that market, then they would have approximately 26% of the global DWDM market. I do not believe that Alcatel has anything near that figure. It is therefore most likely that Alcatel includes legacy SONET installations in its market share figures. RHK puts it at 21%. I'm not sure how they get the numbers or what's included.
