What are the path(s) from TDMA to 3G in the U.S., and do you have an educated guess on the timetable? Will every piece of TDMA hardware have to be replaced? American optimism, and a willingness to spend, (and take risks, often with borrowed money) are the result of 4% unemployment, 2% inflation, peace, year after year of 20%+ stock market gains, and rising home values. Change one or two of those conditions, and we could return to the pessimism of the 1970s. Remember when Communism was conquering in Vietnam and Afghanistan and all over Africa, and Japanese Capitalism was universally seen as superior to our version?
