I've been studying about Elijah. King Ahab referred to him as a trouble maker and his wife Jezebell threatened to have him killed after the show down between God and Baal went the wrong way for the lady. It turns out the 450 prophets of Baal met with an untimely end because they could not call down fire on their sacrifice and the LORD proved to be THE LORD. Anyway, Elijah ran away to the desert to avoid a similar fate. (For more on this fascinating story check out I Kings chapter 18 - 19.) So, at least in the current time mages might be able to work magic to avoid the unpleasantness of bringing unwanted news to the rulers. In your case I hope you are bringing much welcomed prophesies to the masses. Sunny
