Note: very close to the time the SSB guy made his sector downgrade, TWO pieces of news were released pointing to STRONG growth in cell phone handsets in China and in Europe. But the SSB guy cited a supposed cell phone "handset sale slowdown" as one of his primary reasons for his downgrade!

As well, the SSB guy did not mention that new handsets have around 8 times the memory of current ones.

We can conclude that the drop of this stock from 48 to 35 was based on BOGUS information about handset demand slowing down.

That is what I have a problem with. The analyst surely has at least the same access to news and sector that I have.

From Europe:
Vodafone 6.6 million mobile users added (vs. 5.8 million estimate)

"China Unicom was also gaining ground, as investors continued to buy on news of a 90 percent surge in the company's subscriber level to over eight million since the end of last year, traders said."
