Agree with you regarding general trend.

I expect a divergence may occur sometime in the future, when Biotechs may rise at an accelerated pace because of the rapid and amazing pace of progress in many different areas of biotechnology, eg genomics, proteinomics, stem cell, gene chip technology, oncology etc.
This may occur in tandem with some high tech weakness, probably first quarter 2001, when Fed actions will take hold, as either a resurgence of growth will compel the Fed to raise rates, or slow growth will hit tech earnings.

All IMHO.
