The actual royalty agreement with MSFT was filed as an exhibit to a 6F filed with the SEC on 9/11/97 - which I've been unable to retrieve with either 10-K wizard or the Edgar products. It is referenced as such in the current 10-K. I would love to read that 9/97 document and understand better exactly where MSFT can use the patents royalty-free and where it can not. Anybody have a clue how to pull foreign company filings?

I would rather read it myself than query LHSP's IR - whose explanation mightn't necessarily agree w. say the Ballmer view of reality.

I agree that chatting up one's PC "ain't all that" and the real gold is in wireless if LHSP can pull off "Project NAK."

Using any form of voice recog, no matter how well tuned, to execute OS commands on a PC seems a little scary to me. (I said "he raced" dammit, not "erased"!)
