i didn't know about this S&P directive. in view of the ASL and Cambior debacles it is utterly laughable.

DROOY used to be unhedged for a long time, and was also forced by its bankers to hedge, at the worst possible moment.

btw, a few juniors are not going to change much...we'd need biggies like AU and ABX and the Australians to cover their hedges...bring volatility back. mining is a cyclical industry - at times you make money, at times you don't. but by capping the price of gold, they have ensured they will never make any money anymore...it's too stupid for words...
