Trish & Z -

It's nice to know some out there are still interested in the outcome of Seagate. Wouldn't it be a pleasant surprise to the world if the stockholders decided to get rid of the existing management and vote in a group that would bring them the true value of the company and the assets? We should find out if someone will present a better offer to the shareholders this month.

If not, it is up to the shareholders to say they want an alternative offer by voting down the deal and voting for new representation. I imagine there are many high tech managers that would love the opportunity to run a company like Seagate for the lucrative salary and stock options. Many Board directors pride themselves in returning value to shareholders. This may be their opportunity to be part of a team that will take advantage of the data storage era we are entering. It is not accept the deal or nothing.

Thank you for not giving up.

Regards,
Mark
