hb - I thought you'd be in bed in Austria! I think you fall prey to conventional wisdom - at least the conventional wisdom of many here. IMO it is the level of production not hedging as such which affects price. Hedging affects the timing - but since the level of hedging is fairly constant - we're back to the matter of production levels. But demand affects price too - lest we all become a bunch of supply siders.
