Intel Investors - Fry's (Sunnyvale) now sells an i815-based, 866 MHz Sony VAIO PC.

It includes 128 MegaBytes of PC 133 MHz SDRAM on the Solano/815 MotherBoard!

Throw in a 30 Gig hard drive, DVD player and CD-RW.

Price is $2499.

A neat package !

Thank you Paul for your kind words.

Do you think the disappointing earnings warnings from BMC, CA and now Compuware, could eventually bode well for Intel? The three companies have all blamed it on a slowdown in software sales, especially to Mainframe customers. Could it be that these Corporate customers are waiting for Intel to ship their revolutionary Merced MPs and Servers, starting this quarter?
