apparently Juan turned down a cool $2 million bribe from the CANF "leaders"...in an age where a nurse marries a millionaire and then goes and accepts Playboy's offer, Regis millionaire mania, Survivor shows wannabes, Monica Blewinsky doing ads for Slim fast, that nun in Miami who changed her story after another bribe of course (hey, Sister with this $$$ you can open a new monastery)and of course Lazaro and Donatofisherman crap...to stand tall and say no and go back to Cuba where life is admitedly harder than here...what can I say? My respect for this guy was very high and it's now even higher.

and I am still waiting for your sexist post<g>

<< Elian's mother damned near killed her kid. >>

It is so easy to "blame the dead victim". You must be a lawyer. <g>

<< She kidnapped a child from his father- who, apparently loved him and was involved in his parenting. >>

And also was involved in Elian's flight to freedom, before Castro decided to use Elian as a propaganda tool. You read Castro's words very well. Which is your favorite speech. <g>

<< But you are saying it's a good thing if the kid is Cuban. >>

Objection: leading the witness with false testimony.

<< I don't like Castro and I don't like communism. >>

I apologize if I got the wrong message from your words, over and over again.

<< Perhaps being anti- Castro has addled your brain so you cannot see this thing in any other way than Anti Castro vs Duped by Castro. >>

I take it that you don't consider yourself "duped by Castro". If that makes you feel better, good for you!

<< I am a lawyer ... >>

I knew it!!!

<< I think I am sorry for you too. You have my pity. But nothing more. >>

Nothing more?! Come on! Lawyers are supposed to have more compassion then that. Hey! You never know, I could be a client of yours someday. <g> ---
