Joe: Ok, I guess you don't have to be Vulcan to use that phrase, it is a pretty good one :) I just thought maybe you had pointed sideburns <ggg> Seriously though, I think your appraisal is right on. I'm guessing we'll see the market start to move higher after the next British auction on the 12th. It seems no small coincidence to me that OPEC agrees to increase output 500,000 bbls/day & the Russians are going to sell platinum to Japan, only one week before a 25 ton gold auction. Nothing like depressing the market before one picks up a bunch of gold cheap. In any other market, they call that manipulation and price fixing and people can go to jail. But these are the very big boys and they can stick it to the consumers and small investors, with the help of big government, anytime they wish. Ultimately, the piper must be paid. I believe payday is not far off.
