Mike- don't know how much you follow the QCOM story but this was posted over on the Moderated thread a while ago and I've got some problems understanding it. I hope you've read it already.

Does this say that subscribers in Korea are going down? If that's the case how can the cc from QCOM regarding the fourth quarter in Korea be anything but negative? I'm wondering if I'm just interpreting this incorrectly. Any help is appreciated.

Mike,

Re: New CDMA Slide Set from PCS Forum, June 20, 2000, Brazil

cdg.org

Similar presentation to Terry Yen's in Bangkok but many updated slides

Updated subscriber numbers and forecast. Note That forecast is 100 million by year end. I think it will be closer to 90 million (Korean impact). This is still exceptional growth. Up from 50 million end of 99 and hardly a niche standard.

There are several VERY good and interesting slides on the Qualcomm value chain.
