Better yet, setup 2 formula columns in your quotesheet - one for stocks where the fast EMA cross up through the slow MA, and vice-versa. You use a formula like this:

ema(close,5,0,60) > ma(close,8,0,60) and
ema(close,5,0,60) < ma(close,8,0,60)

This way, RQ will alert you (with sound if you want) as soon as a crossover occurs. If you want to be alerted only once the crossover bar is closed, substitute -1 for the 0's in the 2 formulas above. I have a quotesheet with about 50 of my favorites and am alerted the second any crossovers occur. It works well to say the least. =)
