Yousef, You know, I always suspected that might ruin one's day. Reminds me of the film Gladiator where Roman state of the then art MIL spec was shown. From what I have read it was an accurate descriptor of war tech of the time, even though the film plot was incorrect. well, better start a thread on old Roman war-tech.
Well, if AMD comes over the walls at night as Intel sleeps and steal the oil.....what then?
In truth I anticipate AMD will get SMP going with some chip-set partners and Intel will go forward with another CPU and chip-set so a gap will still be there. Intel still leads in that arena. A stern chase is always a long chase.
