One of our posters made this point also when it came out that Intel might be giving up some chipset business, to devote as many fab facilities to microprocessors for desktops, notebooks and Xeons, where the money is. It seems that Intel's chipsets are the best, performance-wise, though, but maybe something has to give when you can't make enough to supply demand.
