Francois, I beg to differ. It's actually very misleading but if you read the immediate sentence prior to the 90% reference, you will see that McLaren was talking about the new Channel bringing loads of new business in the future.

So when the next paragraph says "that channel", I believe it is referring to the CLEC channel, NOT ALA. Unfortunately the writer decided to reference CKY as an affiliate of ALA JUST BEFORE MAKING THE REFERENCE TO 90% NUMBER.

Even when CKY was owned mostly by NN, they never got 90% business from ALA.

EXCERPT FROM THE PR RELEASE

Mr. McLaren predicted that new independent local carriers
will generate 60 per cent of revenues in future years.

Crosskey, an affiliate of Newbridge Networks now Alcatel,
generated 90 per cent of all sales through that channel in the
last quarter. It expects the Alcatel channel to generate about
50 per cent of sales in the future.
