Rose-

I had lunch yesterday with friends that are EMC reps...they say NTAP is a monster. As a matter of fact, EMC employees have lost their jobs due to their investments in NTAP. Both have their niche's and I will hold both.

Leaving on my scoot ride...see you all on Sunday.

Scott

what I see on TA for NTAP:

the surge in early June is clearly over
that was a nice strong move from 60 to 90
that momentum has been lost and must be restored
not sure how much it will be restored

first the Moving Averages are all properly aligned now
this should provide support for any move, large or small

daily stochastics are showing neutral signals
(closing daily behavior neither strong nor weak)
relative strength is also neutral
(NTAP doing no better, no worse than rest of tech stocks)

I see a clear path to 90-100
90 now might offer more resistance than we want to admit
but a decent uptrend from April is rather clear
it seems that 75 is a lower barrier on that uptrend channel now

any move from here IMO depends upon the over Naz

my biggest concern now is the overall market
I dont honestly see any strength being sustained
every rally seems to be cut off
strange downdraft days like Wednesday come from nowhere

the Dow and NYSE generally seems weak as hell
the Dow is showing a vivid vivid bearish signal of weakness
I see Dow heading under 10,000 in August after earnings
I cannot see the Naz strong during that time
almost everyone I know is looking for a door to exit in July
that tells me the August decline will come early
last year it came the last week of July, first week of August

for what it is worth
wounded, down, maybe out
